Have you tasted and seen that the Lord is good and want to tell others about Him? Next week we have a few opportunities to work together, in both support roles and speaking roles. 6/3 Wednesday gospel packet prep, 6/4 UC Davis National Cancer Survivor Day Outreach booth, and 6/5 Friday visiting the elderly at Saylor Lane. 

June CBC Evangelism:

On Friday, 6/5/2026 at 5:30p we will be visiting the elderly at Saylor Lane. Our hope is to spend time with any residents who would like visitors, pass out encouragement packets, and lovingly share the hope of the gospel with them.

We will also have a booth at the UC Davis National Cancer Survivor Day event on Thursday, 6/4/2026 10am to 2pm, where we plan to hand these out as well and share the gospel message of hope. In preparation for both outreach opportunities, we need help assembling the packets. We plan to meet Wednesday morning, 6/3/2026, from 9am–1pm at church. Coffee and bagels will be provided for all who register. Each packet will include an encouragement note, a small Bible, and a flower attached to it. If you are able to help assemble packets, please sign up.

If you'd like to participate but can only make it for a portion of the serving event please go ahead and sign up and text or email to let us know your hours you're committing to.

Most importantly, we would appreciate your prayers, that the Lord would go before us, give us wisdom and compassion, help us be bold in truth and love, and prepare the hearts of those we will meet to receive the hope found only in Christ!

Saylor Lane is a local skilled nursing home. We visit to provide compassionate care for the sick. We seek to bring comfort, in the most enduring and eternal sense, through the beautiful gospel message to residents who are willing to have us visit by their bedside.
