Proclaim Christ Conference

The Proclaim Christ Conference is a free evangelism conference taking place April 24–25, 2026 at Bryte Church (1000 Sacramento Ave, West Sacramento), designed to practically and encouragingly equip believers to share their faith with confidence and clarity. Friday sessions run from 6–9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM–1 PM. Dr. Timothy Beougher of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will provide simple, effective tools for everyday evangelism, helping address common fears like awkward conversations and not knowing what to say, making this conference especially helpful for anyone who feels unsure or unequipped.

For the month of April, we want to encourage the church to set aside time for prayer, seeking the Lord together, and growing as people who depend on God. Our desire is that, as a body, we would unite our hearts before God, bringing specific needs and requests to Him with faith and expectancy.

Each week, you will receive an email with guided prayer topics to help us pray intentionally in unity. Whether you do this during your personal quiet time, with your family, or in fellowship with others, we encourage you to join us in lifting these things before the Lord each day.

The spiritual disciplines, rightly understood as disciplines of grace, are not legalistic obligations but rather the God-given means through which we position ourselves to receive and experience His transforming presence in our lives. Without them, our faith risks becoming anemic, our growth stunted, and our witness ineffective. God has given us these means of grace not as burdens to bear, but as channels through which His Spirit works to awaken our affections, deepen our communion with Christ, and conform us to His image for the glory of God and the good of others.

March Evangelism

Corporate Worship and Family Dedication

CBC Saints! This Sunday during both services we will be having our Family Dedication. This special time is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). CBC! Our Evangelism Training is THIS Saturday March 14th, from 9am to 1pm, we’ll gather for training, be sent out in small groups to various spots in Sacramento for evangelism, and then gather again for lunch and debriefing. You can expect to get trained, sent, and get real reps in sharing the gospel with our fellow Sacramento neighbors we’re blessed to live among. We believe the Gospel is the power unto salvation (Rom 1:16), that Jesus is the only way, truth and life, and our commission is to open our mouths and tell people about our Redeemer and such a great salvation.

Missions Potluck

Join us for our Missions Potluck THIS Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 3:30–6:00 PM. Over the years, God has brought our church into partnership with 9 missionaries across the globe. Their ministries range from personal evangelism to training leaders. All this, in regions of the World where the light of the gospel is the darkest. Join us as we celebrate the good work that Christ is using our church to do through these 9 partners! We will hear from each of them as they address their ministry and how we as a church can continue to partner with them for the sake of the gospel.

The evening will include worship, a potluck meal, video greetings, missionary Q&A, and a time of prayer. A children’s program (ages 6–9) will be available upstairs from 5:00–6:00 PM (registration required). Please bring a small dish inspired by your assigned region (homemade or store-bought) that serves 3–5 people, and sign up on the potluck sheet. Personal evangelism training and sending! On Saturday March 14th, from 9am to 1pm, we’ll gather for training, be sent out in small groups to various spots in Sacramento for evangelism, and then gather again for lunch and debriefing. You can expect to get trained, sent, and get real reps in sharing the gospel with our fellow Sacramento neighbors we’re blessed to live among. We believe the Gospel is the power unto salvation (Rom 1:16), that Jesus is the only way, truth and life, and our commission is to open our mouths and tell people about our Redeemer and such a great salvation. Bonus: we have our missionary Johnny Gravino in from Rome that weekend who will tag team the training with Pastor Vincent. Sign up today!

The evening will include worship, a potluck meal, video greetings, missionary Q&A, and a time of prayer. A children’s program (ages 6–9) will be available upstairs from 5:00–6:00 PM (registration required). Join us as Dr. John Street from The Master's Seminary guides us through essential truths about raising children in a way that honors God.

Join us for our next Men's Breakfast on Saturday, February 21st at 8:00am, as we continue our spring series, Ordinary Churchmen of Old, a look at the faithful, everyday men God used throughout history to make Christ known. This month, Pastor Andy will be sharing the story of Arthur Guinness, the 18th-century brewer whose Christian faith shaped every corner of his life, from how he ran his business to how he cared for the poor. It's a timely reminder that ordinary men, in ordinary callings, can glorify an extraordinary God through being faithful in whatever vocation the Lord calls them to.

Union Gospel Mission

Join us on February 22nd at 7:00pm as we go to Unions Gospel Mission to share the good news with the homeless men and women of Sacramento. Every 4th Monday of each month our church leads the worship service at this shelter. If you are interested in getting involved, register and come out to this event. Care Conference

The Care Conference was created to equip churches to serve as the frontline of spiritual care within the body of Christ, and this year’s theme is “Relationships Matter to God: Strengthening Relationships at Every Level.” Join us for Care Conference 2025 on February 27–28 as Dr. Greg Gifford leads us through Scripture to show how Christ strengthens our relationships in the church, our communities, and the broader family of faith for God’s glory, after registering for the main conference you’ll receive a link to sign up for a special pre-conference session where he will address topics from his latest book Lies My Therapist Told Me and answer common questions, and childcare will be provided on Saturday for registered children ages 2–11 through the form on the registration page.

Ladies of CBC! An old pastor was known for wisely saying, “Some of you are very familiar with suffering. If you aren’t, just live long enough, and you will be”. True words, and yet there’s a particular variety of suffering that is distinctly Christian: Suffering for the sake of doing what’s right in God’s eyes. The power to persevere through that kind of suffering can only come from one source: Christ’s complete victory in his suffering. Join us this Saturday at 9:00am as we think upon “How to Act When You Suffer for Righteousness” from 1 Peter 3:13 - 4:6.
