Spring Festival - Get Involved

Training: This Sunday, April 10, we will host a training for all Spring Festival volunteers at the new church building at 12:30pm. Lunch provided! If you have signed up to volunteer or know that you will probably end up volunteering, please come out to the training so you can do great at the festival!

Outreach: This Sunday, April 10, from 4pm to 5pm we are flyering additional homes before our prayer meeting. The neighborhood is hearing about our fun event and we want to make sure we reach as many of our future friends as possible!

Volunteer: There are a total of 251 empty slots that need volunteers for this event! We currently filled only 70 but still need 181 more volunteers, so please sign up asap so the event organizers can have more peace of mind. Do not be afraid of commitment–this will be good for you, CBC, and our community!

Building Update

Last Saturday, six beautiful saints come out to fill in the large holes in the bathrooms in preparation to pour concrete. We moved over sixteen yards of dirt and rock that day (“Trust me, that’s a lot” - Sam Chung). Today we were able to pour the concrete and the renovation is on schedule! We plan to start framing those bathrooms this week and the sheetrock contractors will start closing up all the walls. We are making solid progress so look for the next opportunity to help!

Men’s Roundtable - April 8

Men, it’s time to gather for coffee and God’s word this Friday, April 8 at 5:45am (Church Building: 1101 51st Street). The juicy topic of discussions will be: “The Christian Man, Cynicism, Compassion, and Conspiracy Theories.” You know that Pastor Vlad is ready to bring the heat by the intense alliteration infused into the title of this discussion. We look forward to seeing your faces!

Important Announcement: Our Good Friday Service (4/15) will be at the DoubleTree Hotel (2001 Point W Way, Sacramento, CA 95815) at 7pm. Resurrection Sunday (4/17) will at Hiram Johnson High School at 10am. Invite your friends and neighbors and enjoy this evening the other CBC saints. 

Baptism - April 10

This Sunday we will have the joy of witnessing the baptism of Cathrine Kang, Dekoda Boid, Emma Manoukian. The CBC church family will hear their wonderful testimonies of how God saved them and we will pray for them together as Christ’s body.
