Welcome Ty Nickelberry

Pastor Ty Nickelberry has officially joined the staff this week! Ty is a recent grad of The Master’s Seminary where he completed his training for pastoral ministry. He served at Grace Community Church as Intern Director, counselor and membership administrator. Ty is married to his beautiful wife Melinda since July 2021. Be sure to introduce yourself to him sometime soon!

Believers who are seeking to obey and glorify God through partaking in baptism, please sign-up for our Baptism Class which is starting next Sunday, August 28th at 8 AM. During this class, Pastor Vlad will cover what baptism is and various subjects concerning it as you prepare your declaration of faith.

Alternatives Pregnancy Center Prayer Pop-Up

The Prayer Filled Pop-Up Shop at Alternatives Pregnancy Center is this Saturday, and we invite you to join. They will dedicate their new building to the Lord! There will be a prayer tour of their new facility, a pop-up shop featuring their new merchandise launch, Chando's tacos, Kona ice, coffee, a bounce house for the kids, and more! You'll also have access to discounted SOHL Celebration tickets where Citizens and Shai Linne will be live in concert! You can arrive anytime between 11 AM and 4 PM.

Union Gospel Mission

CBC will lead a church service at the Union Gospel Mission this Monday, August 22nd, at 7 PM. UGM serves our local homeless community by providing shelter, a meal, and a rehabilitation program. CBC participates in this ministry every 4th Monday of the month.

Join the saints for this service as we gather to evangelize and encourage the people who come to the service!

TYG Fall Launch

Teens, Parents of teens, and Siblings of Teens ~ This Tuesday, the Youth Group is starting its fall semester on Tuesday August 23rd at 7 PM. If you are a teen or a parent of a teen, you won't want to miss out on being part of TYG. The focus of this semester will be Biblical Counseling and it will look at how the Bible applies to our daily lives.

TYG will also have an End of the Summer Party on Saturday, August 27th. This event will be held in Loomis from 3-7PM.

Men's BBQ

Gentlemen ~ On Saturday, August 27th at 5 PM in our Church Building, the Men's Ministry will kick off their first Fall Semester event by having a BBQ! Join fellow brothers over some grilled meat, sports, and edifying fellowship as the group discusses plans for the new year.
