Young Adults! Join us for our Young Adults Ministry kick off THIS Friday, August 28th at 6:30pm as we kick off the new semester and series. This will be a sweet evening of fellowship and worship! The young adults ministry purpose is to equip young adults in the way of wisdom to live as mature disciples of Christ, we hope to have you join us to grow together in wisdom and love for the Lord. Ministry Fair
Saints! This Sunday, after both services, we want to invite all of you to explore the different ministries at CBC and sign up if you are interested in serving in the ministry. Christ is building the church and every member is a living and active building block within this church. If you are new to the church or have been thinking about how you can be obedient to God's word in being a good steward with the gifts and time He gave you and don't know where to serve, be sure to stop by the fair and get plugged in!
Members Meeting
CBC Members. This Sunday we will be having our Members Meeting at 5:00PM. Please be sure to attend as we discuss various family matters and review our current financial situation. This meeting will be for CBC members only so we ask that is you are not a member to refrain from attending.
Communnity Groups are Back
Church! Our community groups are starting next week! If you are not in one yet, be sure you are plugged into one by checking out all our community groups here!
Dinner for Eight
Looking for an opportunity to get to know more people at City Bible Church? We invite you to participate in Dinner for 8 on September 5th at 5:00PM for a great time of fellowship and breaking bread! You can register to attend a dinner group or host one at your home. Host homes are expected to provide a main dish and the attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or drinks. Please register below and fill out the questions provided to specify if you would like to host or attend a dinner. Make sure you register your families or anyone you need to be in the same dinner group with together.
The registration for this event will close TOMORROW, August 27th at 11:00 PM so if you would like to participate please complete your registration before this deadline, as dinner group assignments will be finalized shortly after. If you have questions please email deanna@citybiblesacramento.com.
Baptism Class
Baptism class is starting on September 6th at 11:00 AM in the conference room.
Security Training for Events and Outreach
CBC Saints! Join us for an upcoming Event and Outreach Security Training designed to equip those who serve at our church events, including Truth and Treat, Fab Cab, Spring Festival, and other church gatherings. Whether you’ve served on security before or are looking to get involved, this training will help you be better prepared to serve our church family.
The training will cover what to look for in behavior and mannerisms, where to focus attention and manpower, proper radio usage and etiquette, de-escalation techniques, and how to balance safety and security with opportunities to share the gospel when appropriate. Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM, with training beginning at 6:00 PM. Come get equipped and prepared to faithfully serve our church in these important areas.

Man of God Conference
Men of CBC! You're invited to the 2026 Man of God conference hosted by Grace Bible Church of Fair Oaks on October 9th-10th. This year’s theme is “Men of the Faith: Biblical Examples of How to Live by Faith Every Day” with keynote speaker Dr.Mark Zhakevich from Grace Community Church in Los Angeles. Men from churches across the region will gather for a weekend of worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship with the shared desire to honor Christ and grow in His likeness. We encourage the men of CBC to take advantage of this oppurtunity to be encouraged and equipped to live a life faithfully following and serving Christ!
