Baptism Sunday
Saints! Last week we got to witness 12 souls get baptized as they professed their faith, testimony, and submission to our Lord. We rejoice as the following individuals were baptized: Angelina Kim, Mark Jiminez, Alyna Wilson, Gregory Catuncan, Suzie Bowler, Connor Eagen, Vanessa Yu, Jaden Guseynov, Pam Jones, Connor Lee, Alissa Mathes, and Edward Valovityy.
Please continue to pray and uphold these individuals as they seek to grow in love and knowledge of the Lord.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25

Family Dedication
Parents! Our Family Dedication and Corporate Worship registration closes this Saturday, August 10th. Our family dedication is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a neat opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones.
In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only.
Ministry Fair
Church! This Sunday, August 11th after corporate worship service, we will be having our Ministry Fair in the courtyard and we are in need of volunteers! If you' have been looking for a way to get plugged into our church, this is a great way to explore the ministries currently in need of volunteers so be sure to head on over to our courtyard this Sunday.
Membership Class
This Sunday our membership class is starting at 12:30 PM. If you are considering becoming a member at City Bible Church, this four week class will be the first step in that process and will give you an oppurtunity to learn more about what CBC teaches and believes as well as the significance of membership in our church.
Church Prayer
Join us for Church Prayer this Sunday at 5:00 PM as we will be praying with one another for our missionaries, their various needs, and for the Gospel to be proclaimed to the ends of the earth.
TYG Parents Dinner
Parents of teens! Please join us for our parent dinner on August 20th at 6:30pm as we anticipate our TYG (The Youth Group) meetings resuming soon. We will introduce all of our staff to you, look ahead to our plans for the upcoming year, share new ways you can support us, and give you the opportunity to share how we can serve you more faithfully.
Young Adults Ministry Kick Off
Calling all young adults ages 18-35!
We are officially launching our Young Adults Ministry! The young adults ministry purpose is to equip young adults in the way of wisdom to live as mature disciples of Christ, we hope to have you join us to grow together in wisdom and love for the Lord.
Our epic kick off will be on August 23rd at 6:00pm at the church building. Come on out and be a part of the young adults at CBC and learn more about what the goal and purpose is of this ministry. There will be plenty of opportunity to fellowship and grow in community so do not miss out! Registration is required so be sure to register now and reserve your spot!
Men's Breakfast
Gentlemen! Men's Breakfast is kick starting on August 24th at 8:00 AM. We will be continuing our series on “Disciplines of a Godly Man” as we explore practically what it means to be the men God called us and designed us to be. Eugene Gol will teach on the discipline of integrity as a discipline, which characterizes the entire person, not just a part of them. A man of integrity has a great commitment to stand firm on the truth and live out his convictions in his mind and life. Register now to fellowship with fellow fellas and learn about integrity.
The Intro
What is City Bible Church about? Why do we exist? What do we believe? If you are new to the church and would like to have these questions answered by the leadership of CBC then we would like to invite you to join us at our new-comers event called "The Intro" on August 25th at 12:00 PM. There are limited spots each month and we want to encourage you to register to attend this meeting. Refreshments will be provided.
