Church 6th Anniversary - This Sunday

City Bible Church is 6 years old! After church service this Sunday, we are celebrating God’s goodness in growing His church and the blessings that we all personally experienced through this local body. This party will include “the works”: craft coffee (Corem Deo) paired with specialty pastries, hot dogs (Costco style), photo booth, yard games, and more!

Plan on bringing your lawn chairs/blankets (throwback: remember when we used to bring them automatically to outdoor church service during the pandemic?). We look forward to celebrating with everyone!

Men’s Breakfast - This Saturday

Our Men’s Breakfast will kick off a new and important series: “Theology Matters.” This upcoming Men’s breakfast–this Saturday, February 26–we will be learning about bibliology, which will be led by Jonathan Reed.

The breakfast will be at the church building (1101 51st Street) at 8:00am. Please take a moment to register for food preparation purposes!

Union Gospel Mission - February 28th

**Outreach Opportunity Alert** Share the good news with the homeless of Sacramento this Monday, February 28 from 7-8:30pm. Every 4th Monday of each month our church leads a worship service at Union Gospel Mission (400 Bannon Street).

Women’s Hike - March 12th

CBC sisters who hike together, stay together! Our women’s hike will be at the Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park in Pilot Hill, CA @ 10am (meet in the parking lot). If you want good conversation with fresh air replenishing your lungs while pleasing your eyes with nature, please register and a telegram chat link will be sent to you (this is where you can also coordinate carpooling).

The East Ridge and Long Valley Trail Loop is a 4.2 mile that features a river and is rated as “moderate.” Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Please bring water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, comfy clothes, and shoes with good grip!

Equipping Classes - Starting Next Week 

CBC is offering a slate of equipping classes that will start the first week of March. You never regret learning more about God from God’s Word. Equipping classes are designed to help you grow in various areas of life–we highly recommend taking a class this season so you can grow side-by-side with your CBC family.

This spring, CBC is offering the following classes:

• How to Study the Bible
• Fundamentals of the Faith
• Boldness and Beauty: Men and Women in the Church
• The 4:11: When Speaking is Serving
• Ready! Set! Go!: Equipping the Children Ministry Volunteer
• Shepherding a Child's Heart

To register for a class. We encourage you to register early so that you can participate on Day 1 of your class(es)!
