The Youth Group (TYG)

TYG Is excited to let our Church Family know that we're starting a new Apologetics Series with Pastor Ben! The goal is to teach our teens how to accurately and effectively make a defense for the faith so that people around them would believe in and experience the love of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:15 "but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect."

We also ask our Church family to join us in praying that this series would ignite a fire in their hearts for God's Word and that not only would they be transformed and enraptured by it, but that God would use them as salt in the lives of their peers around them in school, at work, or wherever they are.

TYG is CBC's youth group consisting of middle school and high school teens. They meet every Tuesday from 7-9 pm at our church building, except for the last Tuesday of the month. For more information on TYG or to be added to the Parents/Guardians email group go to the link below.

Community Groups Started

Most community groups have started and it's not too late to join. We want to encourage you to plug into one and experience the grace that God provides when saints serve one another. We have 17 groups all over Sacramento and are working on adding more. If you have not attended one, you are missing out tremendously.

SOHL Conference

Can you believe that this weekend the SOHL Conference happening on Saturday, January 22 on National Sanctity of Human Life (SOHL) Day. The special guests are Shane and Shane, who will be performing a concert and the afternoon will prove to be edifying with sharing from Heidi Matzke (APC), Ryan Bomberger, and Pastor Ben Ito (CBC).

Members Meeting

This Sunday join us for a quick update on the building and our church finances this year. We will also discuss the deacon nomination process and other church life matters. This meeting will be Sunday, January 23rd after service, and we will discuss church life and pray together.

Nonmembers are welcome to join if they wish to learn more about our church and get to know our congregation.

Union Gospel

For those that resolved to share the Gospel more this year, this is a great event to gradually ease into this good habit. Share the good news with the homeless men and women of Sacramento. Every 4th Monday of each month our church leads the worship service at this shelter.

If you are interested in getting involved, register and come out to this event. You can also connect with Ben Ito afterward if you want to continue coming.
