Read the Bible 2022
Saints, we want to invite you to read the whole Bible this year with me (if you don't already have a preferred "diet"). You can preview the reading plan here.
For encouragement, discussion, and accountability, please join the Telegram group at this link: Read the Bible 2022 Group. No matter where we are in the year, or how much or how little you have read, you are welcome to participate as much or as little as you like.
Start the New Year off with a sweet morning of fellowship and food, centered around God's Word with the ladies of CBC! We look forward to seeing you on January 8th at 9 am - spread the word, bring a friend. We will meet at the new church building.
Please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare.
There is no better way to spend the first week of this year than by joining the church as we pray together for this year's ministry opportunities, each other's being, and the furthering of the gospel. This Sundays January 9th at 5 pm we will hold our first church prayer this year. We will get together at the New Church Building. Find more details at the registration link.
Register and schedule it in your calendar so that you would not miss it.
Church Family, we want you to know about the SOHL Conference happening on Saturday, January 22 on National Sanctity of Human Life (SOHL) Day. The special guests are Shane and Shane who will be performing a concert and the afternoon will prove to be edifying with sharing from Heidi Matzke (APC), Ryan Bomberger, and Pastor Ben Ito (CBC).
For tickets, and to take advantage of our group rate, visit our registration link while supplies last:
This year, we are starting the year with a quick update on the building and our church finances. We will also discuss the deacon nomination process and other church life matters. Join the body on Sunday, January 23rd after service, as we discuss church life and pray together.
Nonmembers are welcome to join if they wish to learn more about our church and get to know our congregation.
Some may have thought that you missed this year's Men's Retreat, well we want to reassure you that you did not. Join the other men of CBC on the weekend of January 27-29 for a weekend filled with meaningful fellowship, biblical teaching, delicious food, and enjoyable activities. This year the retreat will be held at the beautiful Del Oro Camp and Conference Center in Nevada City, only an hour and a half away from Sacramento.
Registration is open; secure your spot today.
