Field Trip Friday
Saints! This week join us for our Field Trip Friday, this Friday at 5:30 PM, as we go minister the gospel at Saylor Lane. This outreach is geared to ministering the Gospel to the elderly at Saylor Lane. For questions and more details please contact Theresa Saetern at theresasaetern@gmail.com.
Women's Breakfast
Ladies! This Saturday, January 11th at 9:00 am we will be having our first Women's Breakfast of the year! We will be continuing our series on Saints and Sisters with Amy Atkins teaching on Abigail, looking at her example of true beauty by her wisdom, grace, and humility shown by a heart that fully trusts in God and His Promises. Join us for a fruitful time in the word, fellowship, and breakfast goodies.
Church Prayer
This Sunday we will be gathering for our Church Prayer to pray together at 5:00 pm. We will be praying for our volunteers who faithfully serve and how we can be stewards of our gifts to serve the church.
Baptism Sunday
Our Winter Baptism is on Sunday, January 19th during both services. We are excited to celebrate this occasion as our fellow brothers and sisters proclaim their faith through their shared testimonies and partake in water baptism. Join us and please pray for these individuals as they prepare for baptism.
Members Meeting
Members, save the date for our next members meeting on January 26th as we discuss various family matters and review our current financial situation. We will get to pray together at the end for our body and various ministries at our church. This meeting will be held at 5:00 pm in place of the prayer meeting.
Nonmembers are welcome to join if they wish to learn more about our church and get to know our congregation.
Dinner for Eight
Are you looking for a way to meet more people at City Bible Church? We’ve got just the thing for you! Dinner for Eight is happening on February 1st, and we’d love for you to join us for a great time of fellowship and breaking bread together!
You can register to attend a dinner group or even host one at your home. Host homes will provide a main dish, while attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or drinks to share. It’s a beautiful way to connect, share a meal, and build lasting friendships!

Partnership in Global Missions Class
Church! We are slowly starting to launch our spring equipping classes! In the Partnership in Global Missions Class, we will consider some crucial questions about the role of every Christ-follower and how this fuels global missions. This class will equip us to carry the hope of the Gospel to the nations.

Women's Retreat
Ladies of CBC! Join us for a peaceful weekend at our Women's Retreat on February 6-8, 2025 at Mount Hermon in the Santa Cruz area. This will be a sweet opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life, connect with women from our local church body and be encouraged by the messages from our speaker. Mt Hermon is a beautiful location and we hope that it will be a refreshing weekend.
