Kids Bible Camp Recap
Greetings from Emerald Crossing! Last week, 197 lads and lassies joined us for our journey through Psalm 23! We got to learn about David; the shepherd boy turned Israel’s king who experienced our Good Shepherd’s grace, mercy, and guidance through times of peace and times of hardship. We crafted lanterns and whistles that display our Lord’s guiding light in the darkness and mimic our Shepherd’s call. We got to expend some energy playing the most extravagant games!
Our nursery team got to enjoy the week alongside us as the iconic highland cows, serving our littles with so much love and joy!
The Lord was extremely kind to provide 150 amazing volunteers, who served beforehand and during our week in Ireland. Thank you for serving so sacrificially CBC family! We are already looking forward to next year and praying the Gospel seeds planted this week take root and grow.

July Evangelism
Saints! Join us for upcoming outreach opportunities as we engage our Sacramento neighbors with the hope of the gospel through meaningful conversations, compassionate care, and the proclamation of Christ. This month, we have outreach at Saylor Lane on July 3 at 5:30 PM and at Planned Parenthood on July 22 and July 29 at 11:00 AM. Saylor Lane is a local skilled nursing home where we visit residents to offer care, encouragement, and the hope of the gospel. Planned Parenthood is a place where matters of life and eternity are deeply present, and we seek to lovingly share truth, compassion, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. When signing up, please specify which date you are interested in and text or email the lead person so they can coordinate with you. Premarital Class
Whether you are engaged or preparing for marriage in the near future, sign up for this six-week premarital class starting this Sunday, July 5th at 1:30 PM in room 208. As part of the wedding preparation process at City Bible Church, this class is required for all couples who desire to be married by a CBC pastor. The next class will be offered January 2027 so please plan accordingly!
TYG Camp
TYG Teens Camp is just around the corner and spots are filling up! Join our TYG Camp at Hartstone Bible Camp from July 13–17 for an unforgettable week with our church. This year’s camp theme is Survivor, where we will explore different people and stories from Scripture that teach us what it means to trust in the Lord through every season of life. Camp will be filled with exciting sports, team challenges, discussions, crafts, and daily biblical teaching, all designed to encourage and strengthen our teens in their walk with Christ. We are so excited to serve our teens in this way and look forward to an incredible week together. For more details, please check out the registration below.
Family Dedication
CBC Members! Our next corporate worship and family dedication service is on July 19th. This is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a neat opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones. In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only.
Register to be included in this dedication. The deadline for registration is July 12th.
Membership Class
Whether you are ready to become a member or simply interested in learning more about membership at City Bible Church, we invite you to sign up for this three week class Membership class. This class is a great opportunity to learn more about our church, our beliefs, and what it means to be committed to the life of the body. Classes will meet on Sundays at 11:00 AM beginning August 2nd for three weeks in Room 208 (Conference Room). Once you register, we will notify you of the meeting dates and provide all necessary resources. If the class is full, please email bogdan@citybiblesacramento.com to be added to the waitlist for the next class.
