TYG Camp Recap
Saints! Join us in praising the Lord for what a blessing our TYG Camp was! Earlier this month, our teens went to Hartstone Bible Camp for a survivor themed week. Our campers enjoyed camp activities, games, crafts, skits from each group of teens, and awesome sports. More importantly, the week was centered on God's Word. Each cabin spent time in Bible fellowship studying the Psalms and gathered daily to hear sermons about humanity's need for rescue and how God has graciously provided salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are thankful for the week the Lord gave us and pray that the truths taught at camp will continue to bear fruit in the lives of our teens.

Please pray that this camp bears fruit in the lives of the teens and creates even more opportunities for gospel truths to be shared in this next year of TYG.

Membership Class
Membership Class begins this Sunday! Registration for this class is now full, but if you are interested in becoming a member or simply learning more about membership at City Bible Church, you can still join the waitlist. This three week class will meet on Sundays at 11:00 AM in Room 208 (Conference Room) and is a great opportunity to learn more about our church, our beliefs, and what it means to be committed to the life of the local body. Evangelism Training
Personal evangelism training and sending! On Saturday August 8th, from 9am to 12pm, we’ll gather for training (+breakfast) and then be sent out in small groups to various spots in Sacramento for evangelism. You can expect to get trained, sent, and get real reps in sharing the gospel with our fellow Sacramento neighbors we’re blessed to live among. We trust that the Gospel is the power unto salvation (Rom 1:16), that Jesus is the only way, truth and life, and our commission is to open our mouths and tell people the Good News and such a great salvation. The Intro
What is City Bible Church about? Why do we exist? What do we believe? If you are new to the church and would like to have these questions answered by the leadership of CBC then we would like to invite you to join us at our new-comers event called "The Intro." There are limited spots each month and we want to encourage you to register to attend this meeting. Our Intro will be at 11:00 am on August 23rd and we will meet at the Welcome Table in the Lobby to be walked over to the meeting room. Refreshments will be provided.
Members Meeting
CBC members, save the date! Our next Members Meeting will take place on Sunday, August 30th at 5:00 PM. This is an important opportunity for our church family to gather, receive updates on the life and ministry of CBC, and pray with one another. If you are a member, we encourage you to make every effort to attend. We look forward to spending this meaningful evening together as we continue serving the Lord and caring for His church.
