Church Building Volunteers
Church! Do you like cars? Do you think you have excellent parking skills? Put those skills to use by joining our Parking Ministry Team!
Men! Do you like greeting? Do you like sitting? Do you like helping people find seats? Use these passions to serve the church in the Usher ministry!
We are still looking for volunteers to help in these ministries in our new building, so please sign-up to serve one another if you have the desire and opportunity.
Global Missions Update Lunch
Our Global Missions Team is hosting a Potluck THIS SUNDAY, June 5th, at 12:30pm in the new church building (1101 51st Street).
If you would like to join to hear the update on what our missionaries are doing around the globe, we kindly ask that you register by midnight this Friday, to let us know you are joining and sign-up to bring a dish to share!
Women's Retreat Photos
Our CBC ladies had a spectacular Women's Retreat a few weeks ago. They covered the book of Philippians and were reminded of the all-powerful truth that Christ is sufficient and that we are to rejoice in Him in all circumstances.
The weekend was filled with nature, crafts, lots of laughter and tears, encouraging testimonies from fellow sisters, and a lot of fantastic fellowship.
Want a sneak peek of what it looked like?
Praying together is an incredible opportunity that we get to partake in as a church! It allows us to minister and care for one another on so many levels. Mark your calendars to join our upcoming prayer night on June 12th at 5pm. It is a 10/10 recommendation from me.
Church Camp registration is still open! Be sure to register yourself, your family, and your friends for this sweet time that we have to share with one another in the great outdoors! Come one, come all… while spots remain.
Praise God! The church building was ready for the Ching's wedding! Despite all of the challenges, we got most of it done so that this couple could enjoy their wedding day. Thank you, Dima, for managing all of our contractors so well to ensure the work got done. Similarly, we want to thank all the volunteers for coming out and helping us clean everything to make it presentable for the wedding.
Now for the updates: The bathrooms are all finished and functional. The carpet installation and the doors are complete, and the place looks beautiful! This past week the walls upstairs got textures and primed, and we are preparing to do the trim. Also, the lower level is not quite finished; it still needs a few other things done. Nevertheless, our new building is really beginning to look amazing!
