Kids Bible Camp Set Up
Kids Bible Camp begins this Monday! We ask for you to please be praying as we prepare for a wonderful week of ministry that the Lord would be glorified. Please pray that the Lord would uphold the camp, bless the teaching of His Word, and use the week to draw children to a greater knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
We also need all hands on deck as we finish preparations! Please consider signing up to help with setup throughout the week, and especially this Sunday after service as we make our final preparations. Lunch will be provided in the kitchen for everyone helping with setup. Thank you for serving and partnering with us in this important ministry!
Union Gospel Mission
Join us this Monday at 7:00 PM at Union Gospel Mission for a wonderful opportunity to share the hope of the gospel with the homeless men and women of Sacramento. Every fourth Monday of the month, CBC leads the worship service at the shelter, serving through worship, fellowship, and the proclamation of God's Word.
If you are interested in getting involved, we would love for you to come and serve alongside us. Please register so we know you will be joining us.
Church Prayer and Potluck
CBC! Our next church prayer will be on June 28th at 5:00pm. This church prayer will be a potluck! Please bring a dish to share with your fellow Saints. Please be sure to let us know which dish you are bringing using this link!
Premarital Class
Whether you are engaged or preparing for marriage in the near future, sign up for this six-week premarital class starting on July 5th at 1:30 PM in room 208. As part of the wedding preparation process at City Bible Church, this class is required for all couples who desire to be married by a CBC pastor. The next class will be offered January 2027 so please plan accordingly!
TYG Camp
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our own TYG Teens Camp at Hartstone Bible Camp this summer on July 13th - July 17th! Our camp will be centered around the theme of Survivor while covering different people and stories from Scripture that will guide us through how to trust in the Lord practically. Camp will be filled with lots of activities ranging from fun sports games to discussions to crafts and different challenges throughout the day.
We are super excited to serve our teens in this way and are looking forward to spending time with them! For more details, please check out the registration below.
Family Dedication
CBC Members! Our next corporate worship and family dedication service is on July 19th. This is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a neat opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones. In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only.
