Church Center Address Update

Hey Church! CBC uses the Church Center app to communicate with the Church and to help plug its members and visitors into events and all that CBC has to offer! 

This is a tremendously valuable resource in our church and that being said, our fantastic Admin asks that all who use the app to update their profile with their current address. 

Here are a few benefits of keeping your address up to date:

• Tax purposes, to receive your donation statement
• Receive prayer cards and other CBC goodies 

While you are there…  please update your information to your current phone number, working email, and marital status. If you have kiddos, please update their profiles too!

Crazy Busy by Kevin DeYoung

DeYoung looks at the problem of unbiblical busyness and how it harms our soul, joy, and
relationship with the Lord and others. He offers wise and practical ways to overcome these problems.

We encourage all to purchase a copy of the book and discuss the biblical insights throughout the summer. So if you are not too crazy busy to read Crazy Busy, pick up a copy in the lobby after church service. The price is $5 per book, and you can preorder your copy using the link below!

Church Prayer

Saints! We are gathering this Sunday at 5pm for our Church Prayer! Join us at the Church Building (1101 51st Street) to pray with one another and for the needs of our Church and community. It really is precious time of fellowship with one another and communion with the Lord.

Union Gospel Mission

We have the honor to bless and support the Union Gospel Missions ministry to the homeless in our community. Come and serve with us at Union Gospel Mission by holding an evening service on Monday, June 27th at 7 pm. This opportunity for our Church to minister to our neighbors every fourth Monday of the month is an important outreach and support.

Church Picnic

Mark your calendars for our annual Church Picnic on July 17th after the Sunday Service starting at 1pm! It will be a sweet time where all can come and gather to enjoy a day in our neighborhood park with sports, food, and lots of fellowship.

Building Update

As summer kicks off, our construction team is working hard to get the building done for our launch in August. Here is an update of the current:

● The top level is being painted this week.

● The hardware is being installed on the doors downstairs.

● There are still many little things to be completed on the lower level.

● The electricians are installing gutters and wires to connect the new HVAC units.
