The Intro
What is City Bible Church about? Why do we exist? What do we believe? If you are new to the church and would like to have these questions answered by the leadership of CBC then we would like to invite you to join us at our new-comers event called "The Intro." There are limited spots each month and we want to encourage you to register to attend this meeting. Our Intro will be this Sunday at 11:00 am on March 8th and we will meet at the Welcome Table in the Lobby to be walked over to the meeting room. Refreshments will be provided.
Church Prayer
Church! Join us this Sunday, March 8th at 5:00pm, as we gather together to pray with one another. We will be focusing on Missions and Outreach in our prayers.
Corporate Worship and Family Dedication
Registration for our upcoming Family Dedication (March 22nd) closes on March 8th. This is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a neat opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones. In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only. Register now to be included in this dedication.
Evangelism Training
Personal evangelism training and sending! On Saturday March 14th, from 9am to 1pm, we’ll gather for training, be sent out in small groups to various spots in Sacramento for evangelism, and then gather again for lunch and debriefing. You can expect to get trained, sent, and get real reps in sharing the gospel with our fellow Sacramento neighbors we’re blessed to live among. We believe the Gospel is the power unto salvation (Rom 1:16), that Jesus is the only way, truth and life, and our commission is to open our mouths and tell people about our Redeemer and such a great salvation. Missions Potluck
Join us for our Missions Potluck on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 3:30–6:00 PM. We’ll enjoy worship, fellowship, and hear updates from the nine missionaries our church supports around the world. The evening will include worship, a potluck meal, video greetings, missionary Q&A, and a time of prayer. A children’s program (ages 6–9) will be available upstairs from 5:00–6:00 PM (registration required). Please bring a small dish inspired by your assigned region (homemade or store-bought) that serves 3–5 people, and sign up on the potluck sheet.
