Seven Year CBC Timeline

website

"Worship God, through making and maturing disciples." Seven words that have influenced the past seven years of our ministry.

As we look back to the past seven years, we see that God has been faithful. We have grown from the blessing of having outside elders help us oversee the congregation to the blessing of having our own plurality of elders. And we’ve gone from buying coffee elsewhere for Sunday’s to having our own coffee machines!

All this we have received from the Lord. And in the midst of the challenges, He has continued to grow His church. Members have been added. Believers have been baptized. Community groups have been multiplying. Missions have been supported. The saints have been taught, from the Word of God. Disciples have been made and matured.

And so our resolve is to continue worshiping our God, by doing just as the Lord commanded us, to make and mature disciples. Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
