Mens Breakfast

Gentlemen of CBC! This Saturday, May 16th at 8:00 AM, we will be gathering for our final Men’s Breakfast before summer break. Be sure to register and let us know you’ll be joining us!
Pastor Vincent Wong will be teaching on Zinzendorf and the Moravian tradesmen, highlighting how the Lord used ordinary, faithful craftsmen to carry the good news of the gospel to unreached peoples as lay missionaries. Come enjoy a sweet time of fellowship, encouragement, and edification together as men of the church.
Evangelism Training

Personal evangelism training and sending! On Saturday May 23rd, from 9am to 1pm, we’ll gather for training (+breakfast) and then be sent out in small groups to various spots in Sacramento for evangelism. You can expect to get trained, sent, and get real reps in sharing the gospel with our fellow Sacramento neighbors we’re blessed to live among. We trust that the Gospel is the power unto salvation (Rom 1:16), that Jesus is the only way, truth and life, and our commission is to open our mouths and tell people the Good News and such a great salvation. Sign up today!
Bonus: Missionary Benjamin Schroeder, who is church planting in Mexico, will tag team the training with Vincent and our outreach team.
Go Global Fellowship Group

Do you think God may be calling you to full-time missions or leading you to explore missions through a short-term trip? We invite you to join our new Go Global Fellowship Group, a group designed to encourage and equip you in discerning that calling. Together, we will share resources, explore mission opportunities, connect with experienced mentors, and pray for one another as we seek to follow God’s direction. We will meet every other month for dinner at the Ginn's home. Our first meeting will be May 26, 5:00pm. Please contact Alan Ginn, akginn@gmail.com or Bev Ginn, bfginn7@gmail.com if you are interested in participating.
Habits of Grace - The Cultivate Conference

Habits of Grace - The Cultivate Conference is only two weeks away! Join us May 29–30, 2026, as we gather for a rich weekend centered on Habits of Grace and learning what it looks like to pursue a deep, abiding walk with Christ through the ordinary means God has given us. In a world filled with distraction and spiritual shallowness, we want to grow as believers who are rooted in God’s Word, devoted to prayer, and strengthened through fellowship. We are especially excited to welcome David Mathis, author of Habits of Grace, as he teaches and equips us throughout the weekend.
The conference begins Friday evening with sessions and evening fellowship and continues through Saturday afternoon with multiple teaching sessions, meals, and time together as a church body. Whether you are seeking encouragement, renewed spiritual discipline, or practical ways to cultivate rhythms of grace, this weekend is for you.
Childcare will not be provided, so if you choose to bring your children, we ask that you attend to them throughout the conference.
We look forward to gathering together and growing in our love and knowledge of the Lord!
