Baptism Sunday Recap

Saints! Last Sunday we got to celebrate another baptism! What a joy and privilage it is to witness the Lord's saving grace in the lives of Paige Ancira, Alexander Protsyuk, Miguel Rubio, Daniella Nikitin, David Korchevoy, and Caleb Ivanov. Please continue to pray for them for them to courageously share their testimony to the rest of the world and live out the Gospel in their daily lives.

Spring Festival Recap

Church Family! It truly is a joy and privilege to serve our Lord and one another as we hosted another wonderful Spring Festival. Praise the Lord! We thank all the saints who came out to serve, as well as everyone who attended the festival. We pray that the Lord will continue to grow our body in fellowship with one another, and we rest in His mercy and sovereignty over all the gospel conversations that took place. All glory be to Christ!

National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is tomorrow, May 7th: 6:00 am and 3:00 pm, a time when we could gather here at the church to pray together for our nation and other needs in the body. In addition to these times, we are asking our Community Groups to pray when they gather this week. We thank you in advance for your participation and desire to see God exalted and proclaimed in our country.

Mens Breakfast

Gentlemen of CBC! May 16th at 8:00 AM we will be having our last Men's Breakfast prior to our summer break! Be sure to register and let us know you will be joining! Pastor Vincent Wong will be preaching on the Zizendorf and his Moravian Tradesmen and how the Lord used ordinary obedient craftsmen to spread the Good News of the Gospel to the unreached peoples as lay missionaries.
Evangelism Training

Personal evangelism training and sending! On Saturday May 23rd, from 9am to 1pm, we’ll gather for training (+breakfast) and then be sent out in small groups to various spots in Sacramento for evangelism. You can expect to get trained, sent, and get real reps in sharing the gospel with our fellow Sacramento neighbors we’re blessed to live among. We trust that the Gospel is the power unto salvation (Rom 1:16), that Jesus is the only way, truth and life, and our commission is to open our mouths and tell people the Good News and such a great salvation. Sign up today!
Bonus: Missionary Benjamin Schroeder, who is church planting in Mexico, will tag team the training with Vincent and our outreach team.
Go Global Fellowship Group

Do you think God may be calling you to full-time missions or leading you to explore missions through a short-term trip? We invite you to join our new Go Global Fellowship Group, a group designed to encourage and equip you in discerning that calling. Together, we will share resources, explore mission opportunities, connect with experienced mentors, and pray for one another as we seek to follow God’s direction. We will meet every other month for dinner at the Ginn's home. Our first meeting will be May 26, 5:00pm. Please contact Alan Ginn, akginn@gmail.com or Bev Ginn, bfginn7@gmail.com if you are interested in participating.
Habits of Grace - The Cultivate Conference

In a world full of distraction and busyness, we need to return to a simple, faithful pursuit of God. True spiritual growth doesn’t come from striving or performance, but through God’s grace at work in our lives. The spiritual disciplines are not burdens, but gifts—means God uses to draw us closer to Himself, deepen our love for Christ, and shape us into His image.
Join us May 29–30, 2026, for our Habits of Grace - The Cultivate Conference. This conference is designed to help you grow in your walk with the Lord by building life giving rhythms centered on His Word, prayer, and fellowship. We are honored to have David Mathis, author of Habits of Grace, to join us for this conference, teaching and equipping us throughout the weekend.
