Young Adults Ministry
Hey Young Adults! YAM is this Friday, November 22nd, at 6:30 PM. Pastor Ty will continue our series in Proverbs, teaching us about wisdom and influence looking too Proverbs 1:8-19 and leading the subsequent discussion. Come for fellowship, to grow in wisdom, and deepen your understanding of God’s Word. See you there!

Men's Breakfast
Gentlemen, it’s time for the final Men's Breakfast of the year! Join us this Saturday, November 23rd, at 8:00 AM as we dive into the discipline of giving with Tyler Miller teaching on this discipline. Right Hand of Fellowship
This Sunday, November 24th, we’ll welcome new members during the Right Hand of Fellowship at both services. Please pray for our leaders as they finalize membership interviews and for those becoming part of our church.
Church Prayer - Members Only
Next Sunday, November 24th, at 5:00 PM, we will be having a CBC members-only prayer gathering. If you are not formally a member of City Bible Church, we kindly ask you not to attend this prayer meeting. Members, make sure to join us as we discuss and pray over important family matters.
Union Gospel Mission
Join us this Monday, November 25th at 7:00 pm as we head on over to Union Gospel Mission. At UGM our church hosts an evening service, where we will share the Gospel and praise our Lord through Word, song, and testimony. We hope you come and share the good news to those in need alongside us!
Christmas Decorating
Christmas is almost here, and we need your help to turn our church into a Winter Wonderland! Join us on December 1st at 1:00 PM as we decorate the building inside and out for the holidays and Fab Cab. We’ll also need a few extra hands to finish up on Monday, December 2nd—if you’re available, we’d love your help!
Corporate Worship and Family Dedication Service
Saints! Our Family Dedication service is on December 8th. This is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a neat opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones. In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only.
Register to be included in this dedication. The deadline for registration is December 1st.
Men's Retreat
Would you like to spend a weekend filled with meaningful fellowship, biblical teaching, delicious food, and enjoyable activities? I know you would! The 2025 CBC Men's Retreat is coming up on January 16th - 18th so pack your bags and get ready to spend time together and encourage one another!
Location: Zephyr Point Conference Center on the shore of Lake Tahoe

Accomodations and Price: All accommodations include a two night stay and five meals (Thursday: dinner; Friday: breakfast, lunch, dinner; Saturday: breakfast).
You have a variety of options from hotel style lodging in the Tahoe and Tallac Centers (2-3 beds per room) or a cozy cabin (5-10 beds, multiple rooms). The price ranges from $230 to $270.
An early bird discount is available until December 1, 2024.

Membership Class
If you have been considering becoming a member at City Bible Church, attending our Membership Classes is the first step of becoming a member. CBC Membership classes start February 2nd and are held weekly, during the first service (9:00 am) on Sundays in Room 208 (the conference room). Once you have joined this class, we will notify you of the meeting dates and we will provide you with all the necessary resources.
Women's Retreat
Join us for a peaceful weekend at our Women's Retreat on February 6-8, 2025 at Mount Hermon in the Santa Cruz area. This will be a sweet opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life, connect with women from our local church body and be encouraged by the messages from our speaker. Mt Hermon is a beautiful location and we hope that it will be a refreshing weekend.
