UGM Donation
Union Gospel Mission is a homeless shelter and recovery program reaching the least, the last, and the lost for the Gospel. They are in need of blankets to serve the men, women, and children that come through their doors. We want to help fill this need by collecting new or gently used blankets. Bring them to church on December 7 and 14 and place them in the donation barrels located by the child check in area.
The Intro
What is City Bible Church about? Why do we exist, and what do we believe? If you’re new and want to hear answers to these questions directly from our leadership, we invite you to join us for our newcomers event, The Intro. Space is limited each month, so we encourage you to register and reserve your spot. Our next Intro will be held this Sunday, November 30th at 11:00am. Please meet at us at the Welcome Table in the Lobby, and we’ll walk together to the meeting room. Refreshments will be provided.
Christmas Decoration
Christmas is just around the corner, and we’d love your help decorating our building—inside and out! We’ll be gathering each day from December 4th through December 7th starting at 1pm to transform the space for the season, and we need as many hands as possible. Please register to serve on one or multiple days—every bit of help makes a difference!
Fab Cab
Fab Cab is around the corner and we are excited to have you join us December 15-19! Fab Cab is a great way to invite your unbelieving friends and family to enjoy our Fab Cab rides as our Saints minister the gospel to them. Rides are opened the morning of each day and we ask if you are a believer to hold off registering unless you are bringing someone to minister the gospel too.
Want to get involved? Community Groups are currently registering for days they plan on serving so be sure to ask your CG leaders which day your group will be serving! A general registration will be sent out later.
Christmas Eve Services
Join us this Christmas Eve as we joyfully celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, remembering the hope, peace, and salvation He brings. We’ll gather for worship, Scripture, and singing, followed by a sweet time of fellowship together over refreshments. Bring your family and friends and join us on December 24th at 4pm or 6pm at City Bible Church, located at 1101 51st St, Sacramento, CA.
Premarital Counseling
Whether you’re engaged or preparing for marriage soon, we invite you to join our six-week premarital class, required for all couples who wish to be married by a CBC pastor. The class meets on Sundays at 1:30pm starting January 4th in Room 208, and couples must complete the wedding officiating request form before attending. Throughout the process, you’ll participate in six classes, meet 2–3 times with your officiating pastor, and receive postmarital follow-up support.
