November 30, 2022Road Closure This Sunday
Some of you might not be aware or informed about this Sunday’s road closures due to the annual marathon held in Sacramento. We wanted to give you a heads-up and some instructions so that you are prepared if you live in the northern part of Sacramento.
Things to Consider:
- Hazel Avenue, Sunrise Blvd, Fair Oaks Blvd, Watt Avenue, and J Street will all be closed.
- Make sure to calculate the additional time it will take you to get to church so that you are not late for service.
- The best way to get to Church is by using i80 to Highway 50 and exiting Stockton Blvd, 59th Street.

Christmas at City Bible Church
City Bible Famiy! We are excited to rejoice with you as we prepare to celebrate Christmas together. We have a lot of things happening so let us catch you up to speed!
Christmas Outreach
We are excited to serve our community starting December 12th to December 23rd! Our church building will be used as a Hub for the neighborhood to enjoy some hot cocoa and refreshments, Christmas lights, and art installation. We will have our CBC shuttles shuttling people from CBC to the Fab Forties and back!
To make this happen we need all hands on deck! All community groups will be serving for a night or two so be sure to connect with your community group leader to get signed up!
Want to serve more? We will still need more volunteers to help throughout the outreach and registration for additional positions will start beginning of next week. Be sure to sign-up for one of our available shifts and positions, as we are looking for volunteers of all skills and ages!
Christmas Lights Installation
One unique but much-needed way to serve our church this Christmas is by helping us hang our Christmas lights this Saturday! Please join this telegram chat to receive details and instructions!
Christmas Services
Come and rejoice with us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior during our Christmas services. On Christmas Eve, we will have a 4pm and 6pm service with refreshments available before the 4pm service and after the 6pm service. On Christmas Day, we will celebrate the birth of the Messiah again as we will have corporate worship at 10am. Be sure to invite your friends and family!
Men's Roundtable
The Last Men's Roundtable of the year will be on Friday, December 9th, at 5:45 am. Come to beat the sunrise and fellowship with other men as you grow in the Lord's Word. Register to let us know you are coming!
Men's Retreat
Gentlemen! If you love men's breakfasts and roundtable discussions... then you will love our annual Men's Retreat on January 26-28th.
