Men's Round Table
Gentlemen of CBC! Our next Roundtable is this Friday morning from 5:45–7:00 AM in the church lobby. We’d love to see you there for what promises to be a fruitful and engaging discussion. The topic is still being finalized, but we’ll be considering either how Christians should think about AI and its use or how we can biblically think about Christian Nationalism.
Evangelism Training
Do you want to grow in sharing your faith? Would you like to be better equipped to start gospel conversations and gain confidence in evangelism? This training is for you! Join us on Friday, October 10 from 7:00–8:30 PM in the church lobby for an evening of evangelism training. Come be equipped and encouraged as we labor together in the Lord’s harvest. Snacks will be provided!
This is a great opportunity to prepare and sharpen for Friday Field Trip Evangelism, Sac State Outreach, personal evangelism, and the upcoming Truth & Treat Outreach on October 31.
Women's Breakfast
Ladies of CBC! This Saturday, October 11th at 9:00 AM, join us for a sweet morning of fellowship centered around God's Word as Melinda Nickelberry continues our series Chosen and Cherished, teaching on 1 Peter 1:13-21, focusing on the results of having a spiritual perspective. We look forward to seeing you there - spread the word, bring a friend. This could be a great way to introduce your unbelieving friends to City Bible.
Ministry Fair
This Sunday, October 12th, after service, we want to invite all of you to explore the different ministries at CBC and sign up if you are interested in serving in the ministry. Christ is building the church and every member is a living and active building block within this church. If you are new to the church or have been thinking about how you can be obedient to God's word in being a good steward with the gifts and time He gave you and don't know where to serve, be sure to stop by the fair and get plugged in!
Church Prayer and Q&A
Saints! This Sunday, October 12th at 5:00pm we’ll gather for a sweet Church Prayer and Q&A. The first part of the meeting will be a Q&A with Andy, Brent, and Vincent, moderated by pastor Vlad, as a way to get to know our new pastors better. We will end the meeting with various prayers for our church.

Young Adults Ministry
Join us for our Young Adults Ministry on Friday, October 17 at 6:30 PM! Our ministry exists to equip young adults in the way of wisdom so that we may live as mature disciples of Christ. We look forward to growing together in wisdom and love for the Lord. Registration is required, so be sure to sign up today and reserve your spot.
Men's Reformation Night: No Retreat. No Compromise.

Members Meeting
Members of CBC! Our next members meeting is on October 26th, please join us as we discuss various family matters and review our current financial situation. We will get to pray together at the end for our body and various ministries at our church. This meeting will be held at 5:00 pm in place of the prayer meeting. Nonmembers are welcome to join if they wish to learn more about our church and get to know our congregation.
