Dinner for Eight - Host Homes Needed!
Join us for Dinner for 8 on October 4th, an evening of fellowship, friendship, and sharing a meal together! We are in need of host homes for this event. If you have registered for the event and would like to offer your home to host please contact Deanna Dewald. Hosts will provide the main dish, while attendees bring a side, salad, dessert, or drinks. Be sure to include your family members or anyone you’d like to be placed with in the same group.
Registration has been extended to Saturday, September 27 at 11:00 PM. Please sign up before the deadline, as dinner group assignments will be finalized shortly after.

Young Adults Ministry
Join us for our Young Adults Ministry gathering this Friday, September 26! Our ministry seeks to equip young adults in the way of wisdom so that we may live as mature disciples of Christ. Together, we’ll grow in wisdom and deepen our love for the Lord. This week, Nathan Hseih will be teaching from Colossians 1:1–12, focusing on the theme of Christ’s supremacy. The evening begins with prayer at 6:00 PM in the conference room (open to all). At 6:30 PM, we’ll enjoy fellowship with snacks and beverages, followed by the service at 7:00 PM—so don’t be late! Registration is required, so be sure to sign up today to reserve your spot.
Right Hand of Fellowship
The Lord is faithful as He continues to add people to this local body so that we may grow and serve the kingdom together. Come and celebrate with us this Sunday, as we announce all of our new members that are adding to our body. The announcement will be at the end of each service.
Church Prayer
Saints! This Sunday at 5:00pm we will be gathering for our Church Prayer. The focus of it will be on missions and Brent Luman will be leading the gathering.
Membership Class
Whether you have decided to become a member or if you are just interested in learning more about what membership is at City Bible, sign up for this four-week class starting on October 5th at 11:00AM. Once you have joined this class, we will notify you of the meeting dates and provide you all the necessary resources. If the class is full please email bogdan@citybiblesacramento.com to be added on the waitlist for the next class.
Evangelism Training
Saints! On Friday, October 10th, from 7:00pm-8:30pm we’ll do some evangelism training at the church lobby. Come and get further equipped and look to encourage your fellow saints in the Lord’s harvest work! Snacks provided! We encourage you to see this training as a preparation and sharpening for Friday Field Trip Evangelism, Sac State Outreach, personal evangelism, and the soon approaching Truth and Treat October 31st outreach event that we’re eagerly and diligently preparing for! Biblical Counselor Interest Dinner
Biblical counseling is an extension of loving one another by helping believers through real problems with biblical solutions. On October 19th at 5:00pm we will be having a Biblical Counseling interest dinner that will allow you to learn more about the ministry and how you can be involved. Come and learn how you can be equipped to offer hope and guidance through God’s Word to those in need. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP by October 12th.
Men's Reformation Night: No Retreat. No Compromise.
