Two Service Reminder
This Sunday, September 8th, we are officially launching our two corporate worship services! There will be a few changes from here on out to your regular Sunday routine so to better prepare here are some helpful tips so that you may plan accordingly to have an enjoyable Lord’s day:
- Adjust your alarm clocks to wake up and leave on time so you can arrive at the right time. The first Service is at 9:00 a.m., and the second service is at 11:15 a.m.
- Parking will be different for those coming to the second service since some people will still be heading to their cars to leave. We recommend parking at the Medical building and School to avoid driving around for too long.
- If you are coming to the first service, please check out your kids from Sunday School and Nursery promptly so that our volunteers can clean and set up for the second service.
- Our second service will start on time, and we ask that you step out of the worship center if you continue to fellowship with saints from the first service.
- Lastly, we encourage you to switch it up and visit one service on one Sunday and another on the second Sunday to fellowship with more of our members.
Field Trip Friday
Join us for our field trip Friday this Friday, September 6th at 5:30pm as we go to Saylor Lane, where we will be meeting with the elderly every first Friday of the month with a program and fellowship afterwards. The address to this outreach is 3500 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA. Please register to let us know that you will be serving alongside us.

Pre-Service Prayer
As we transition into our two services, our preservice prayer will now be held at 8:00am in the conference room (208). To join this prayer group all you need to do is show up! For any questions please contact ty@citybiblesacramento.com.
Baptism Class
If you have believed in the Gospel, believing in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and have been planning on getting baptized, our Baptism Class starts this Sunday during our 9:00am service in the conference room. This class is the first step in getting baptized at CBC so please register for the class for further details.
Church Prayer
Saints! Join us this Sunday at 5:00pm as we gather to pray for the members of our church.
Men's Roundtable
Gentlemen. The hour has now come for 5:45am to become your favorite hour on the second Friday of the month as Men's Roundtable is starting up again. Please join fellow gentlmen on Friday, September 13th at your favorite hour of 5:45am to enjoy edifying discussion and exhilarating fellowship with other gentlemen. Coffee and pastries are provided.
Women's Breakfast
Ladies, join us for our first Women's Breakfast on September 14th at 9:00 AM! We're excited to kick off our new series, Saints and Sister, where we'll explore the lives of biblical women. Pastor Ben Ito will lead us through 1 Samuel, teaching specifically on Hannah and how her life practically and biblically should impact our lives today. Dinner for Eight
Looking for an opportunity to get to know more people at City Bible Church?
We invite you to participate in Dinner for 8 on October 19th at 5:00pm, for a great time of fellowship and breaking bread! You can register to attend a dinner group or host one at your home. Host homes are expected to provide a main dish and the attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or drinks. Please click the “register” button below and fill out the questions provided to specify if you would like to host or attend a dinner. Make sure you register your families or anyone you need to be in the same dinner group with together.
The registration for this event will close on September 29th at 10:00 PM so if you would like to participate please complete your registration before this deadline, as dinner group assignments will be finalized shortly after.
