Church Prayer

This Sunday, we have our first September Church Prayer gathering at 5 pm. Join fellow saints as we come together to adore our Lord, praying over the needs of our church, and ultimately worshipping our Lord by bringing all our prayers and supplications to him!

Women's Breakfast

Ladies! Our women's breakfast is THIS Saturday at 9 am. Join fellow sisters in Christ for a sweet time of worship and fellowship. Just as a reminder, this upcoming series is called Relationship Matters. This upcoming breakfast will focus on "The Fastest Way to Ruin a Relationship." Who doesn't want to know how to preserve and grow in our valued relationships?

CBC is looking for more volunteers! “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” (Romans 12:1)

• Production and Media Ministry: Our Video and Production team is looking for people who have production experience or are willing to learn to serve our church body.

• Set-up and Tear-Down Ministry: Our Set-Up and Tear-Down team is looking for interested individuals to help move chairs for various events and set them back up for Sunday corporate worship.

Thessalonians Scripture Journals

CBC! We are selling Scripture Journals for Thessalonians for all notetakers and aspiring notetakers. This journal has the passage alongside note-taking areas for you to follow along with the text while taking sermon notes. Pre-purchase your copy for $4 and pick it up before or after service this Sunday or at the church building from 10 am-3 pm on weekdays!

Corporate Worship and Family Dedication

Our Family Dedication service is coming up on September 25th. At this dedication, parents make a public commitment to bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). Similarly, the Church family promises to keep the parents accountable to this commitment. Therefore, we ask that only members of CBC register their children for this dedication. This public commitment is an oath among members and is not meant to be made lightly. If you have a little one that you would like to dedicate, please register by September 18th.

Biblical Counseling Announcements

Calling all current and future counselors! Just a reminder about a few events that are up and coming to help equip you in this ministry:

2. ACBC's In His Image Conference, hosted in person by City Bible. Find the event on the church center app to learn more and sign up. THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP is September 18, 2022.

Exalting Christ Conference

The Exalting Christ Conference is happening this week, running September 8 - September 10. The conference's goal is to assist and encourage pastors and church leaders to preach and exalt Christ as they shepherd their local churches and spread the Gospel in their communities and beyond. Wives are encouraged to attend.

The theme of this year's conference is Conviction: Gripped by the Glories of Christ. We welcome keynote speakers Mike Fabarez, Kent Dresdow, Greg Stoever, and Phil Foley. The conference cost is $160/standard and $50/wife. For more information, visit the conference website.

Sacramento Gospel Conference

This Sacramento Gospel Conference is happening this Saturday at 9 am.This conference is focused on the of a fellowship of pastors and church leaders in the Greater Sacramento region who are committed to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Ian Hamilton will speak on the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life and ministry of our local churches. For more information, check out their website and register there for this conference!
