Gentlemen! Join fellow gents for to kick off this Men's Ministry year with BBQ and hangout with fellow brothers on August 19th at 5pm at the American River. You can enjoy some BBQ, Volleyball, Spikeball, and time getting to meet other brothers and learning what this years Men's Ministry will have in store.

Community Groups are Back!
Community groups are starting next week! We are excited to begin gathering with one another and growing in our knowledge and relationship with our Lord together. This semester our church will be covering the book Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy so be sure to order your copy as we get started! If you are not in a group, sign up now!
Cultivate Conference
Saints! Our parenting conference is NEXT WEEK! We have less then 30 spots left we encourage parents, grandparents, and parents to be, to attend this conference with guest speaker, Lou Priolo on August 25th and 26th.
During this two-day conference, Lou Priolo will delve into various aspects of Christian parenting, addressing the following topics: objective of biblical parenting, discipline: what it really means, how to avoid provoking your children, and parenting teenagers.
We hope that this conference will equip our saints with biblical principles on how to raise children according to biblical standards. We also hope this conference will create a community of like-minded parents who can encourage and support one another in the shared mission of raising godly children.

Women's Breakfast
Ladies! Womens breakfast is back on September 9th at 9am. This year we will be covering a new series called Vanity Fair - Where we will dive deep into understanding the vain pursuits of the flesh, and seek to shift our gaze onto truly pursuing Christ. From vain pursuits to pursuing Christ. Register now!
Corporate Worship and Family Dedication
Family Dedication is on September 24th during our corporate worship service. This is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a neat opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones. In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only.

Man of God Conference
The Man of God Conference is coming up on October 6th-7th at Grace Bible Church in Fair Oaks! The purpose of this conference is to encourage men as they follow Christ and disciple others in their local church, home, and community.
Lord willing, Dr. Anthony Wood from Mission Bible Church in Costa Mesa will be the conference speaker. Pastor Tony as been at Mission Bible since 2010. He is a graduate of the Master’s Seminary and serves on multiple church and missionary boards. His theme for the Conference is Building a Christlike Home in a Cancel Culture. We are excited to see how the Lord will use Pastor Tony to share insights on this timely subject.
