August 2, 2023Membership Class
Membership class is starting this Sunday at 12pm! We encourage all who are interested in becoming members or want to learn more about CBC to register for this class. It is a great way to find out the core values of CBC and what it means to be a member here. The membership class is the first step of being a member at CBC so if you plan on becoming a member sign up now!
Baptism Class
“Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ” - 1 Peter 3:21
If you have believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repented of your sins, we encourage you to be baptized in obedience to the Lord and proclaiming your faith to the world. Register for our baptism class starting next Sunday, August 13th at 8am. This class will prepare and encourage you as your pursue baptism.
Cultivate Conference
Saints! Prices for Cultivate Conference are going up this Sunday! Be sure to secure your spot as space is limited. Join us for the "Cultivate Conference - the Call and Practice of Parenting" with guest speaker, Lou Priolo on August 25th and 26th.
Our hope is that this conference will not only provide invaluable insights, but it will also create a community of like-minded parents who can encourage and support one another in the shared mission of raising godly children.
The cost is $40 for one individual and $70 dollars for a couple and it includes a gift bag, breakfast, lunch, and various refreshments.
The schedule for this conference includes:

- 5:00pm - Doors open
- 6:00pm - Session 1
- 7:30pm - Fellowship Hour
- Saturday:
- 8:00am - Breakfast
- 9:00am - Session 2
- 10:30am - Break
- 10:45am - Session 3
- 11:45am - Lunch
- 1:15pm - Session 4

TYG Parent Dinner
Parents! The Youth Group (TYG) is starting up soon and with the launch of the new year we have a TYG Parents Dinner planned for all parents to meet the staff, ask any questions, and be equipped by the leadership as to what to expect for your teen this upcoming year. This barbeque will be held on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:30pm. Register now!
Men's Barbecue
Men! It is time for you to gather again to kick off this next year of men’s ministry! Join other men for an awesome time of meeting fellow men and barbecuing some meat. So meet and have some meat as you fellowship with fellas on August 19th at 5pm. Register to find out more details.
Community Group Fair
Saints! Join us for our community group fair on Augst 13th after corporate worship in the lobby. The community group fair is a great opportunity for you to check out the community groups that we have in our church and which one is closest to you. Stop by the table and connect with the community group leaders and get plugged in!
