Classes start this Sunday! Grow in the Lord and your knowledge of him and the word through the CBC equipping classes.
Courses offered include: "Love that Lasts" - The Marriage How-to-Guide, Christology, Old Testament Survey | Genesis - Esther, How to Study Your Bible, and Top Gun | Why People are Suffering Under Your Teaching and How to Fix It, and Coffee & Counsel.
These classes will enhance your faith and understanding of the Lord and his will in and for your life. Take advantage of the opportunity to enroll in CBC's Spring 2023 Equipping classes before registration closes!
Corporate Worship and Family Dedication
A special reminder to CBC members ~ The last call to register for Family Dedication Service is this Sunday, February 19th, with the actual service on February 26th. This service is an opportunity for CBC parents to publicly commit to raising their children in the "discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). As part of this church body, we will pray and encourage the parents to uphold this commitment and hold one another accountable as members of CBC.
Men's Breakfast
Gentlemen ~ It's time to rise and shine and join the men of City Bible Church for our monthly Men's Breakfast! We're kicking off a brand new series called "Vulnerable Strength," during which we'll dig deep into what it means to think biblically about our emotions. We'll learn how the Word of God addresses areas of sin in our lives and equips us with the tools to manage our feelings biblically and be a spiritual asset to ourselves, our homes, and our families.
So grab your coffee and your bible and join us on February 25th at 8am!
Dinner for Eight
Dinner for 8 is back! Whether you fancy yourself a culinary genius or a kitchen disaster, hosting a dinner group at your home is easy peasy - just provide the main dish and let the side dishes, salads, desserts, and drinks be taken care of by the attendees. Who knows? You might even get lucky and find a gourmet chef among your dinner guests! Dinner will be served on March 18th, but the fun begins with registration, which ends on March 1st. Be sure to sign up; you do not want to feel like the odd one out at the table.
East Portal Park Clean-up and Tree Planting
CBC family ~ We have a unique opportunity to serve with our neighbors by planting 12 trees in East Portal Park on March 4th at 9am. No need to sign-up. Just come by, and the city will provide shovels and other materials.
