Church Prayer
Sunday, January 14th at 5:00 pm, we will be gathering as one church to pray together. Please join fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as we take the time to pray with one another. What a privilege we have to come to our Lord in prayer.
SOHL
Alternatives Pregnancy Center's 3rd annual SOHL Celebration is just around the corner, but they're changing things up! SOHL (short for Sanctity of Human Life) is a conference and concert where we'll learn how the Gospel should influence our views on the sanctity of human life in the face of abortion, sex trafficking, addiction, and sexual identity.

A Man's Day
A Man’s Day: CBC Men’s Relaunch for 2024: Disciplines of a Godly Man.
It’s been said that the vitality of the church can often be measured by the spiritual health of the men of the church. Strong men build strong churches. Strength will be the name of the game as we kick-off our Men’s Ministry for the year 2024 on January 27th 2:30pm - 6:00pm where you will enjoy a time of physical competition, a time to feast together, and a time of encouragement and prayer. Come also to hear more about our theme for this year, Disciplines of a Godly Man.
Come for a unique experience that will combine the thrill of axe and knife throwing, pro archery, and competition, along with mouth watering BBQ including whole roasted lamb and hog, and a time for Q&A regarding life, theology, leadership, and marriage!
Rise up to the challenge and don’t miss out on what may be the single greatest men’s event in the history of CBC!
Women's Conference
Ladies! We are so excited to announce our second Women's Conference on February 10th, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm!
Our speaker is Manny Pereira from Trinity Bible Church and he will be speaking on the topic "Awakening Awe: The Joy of Fearing God."
We live in a culture of fear. Yet this is ironic because it seems that people in our day fancy to fear just about anything but God. We fear political agendas, diseases, carcinogens, weather, bad influences, crime, etc. Anxiety is at an all-time high and security mechanisms are in abundance. Yet it seems that there is no fear of God in the eyes of the people. The fear of God is the key to the dispelling of all other fears. Learning to fear God is learning to live in the freedom and joy of God-centeredness.

Dinner for Eight
Looking for an opportunity to get to know more people at City Bible Church?
We invite you to participate in Dinner for 8, on February 17th, for a great time of fellowship and breaking bread! You can register to attend a dinner group or host one at your home. Host homes are expected to provide a main dish and the attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or drinks. Please click the “register” button below and fill out the questions provided to specify if you would like to host or attend a dinner. Make sure you register your families or anyone you need to be in the same dinner group with together.
The registration for this event will close on February 2nd at 10:00 PM so if you would like to participate please complete your registration before this deadline, as dinner group assignments will be finalized shortly after.

Family Dedication
February 18th, during our corporate worship service, we will be having our Family Dedication. This is a public commitment by parents to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to express their desire to raise their child(ren) in a home that honors Christ. It also gives our entire church a chance to pray for our little ones. In order for accountability of these commitments to be real, we would ask that this dedication is open for members of CBC only.
Register to be included in this dedication. The deadline for registration is February 10th.
