March 2, 2022Fundamentals of the Faith (FOF)
Our Fundamentals of the Faith class is starting this Sunday! This is a foundational class for all Christians–new believers and those who want to sharpen their understanding of key doctrines in the bible. The Christian walk is dependent upon their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.
This class will be on Sundays at 8:15 am (Hiram Johnson).
Women’s Hike - March 12th
CBC sisters who hike together, stay together! Our women’s hike will be at the Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park in Pilot Hill, CA @ 10am (meet in the parking lot). If you want good conversation with fresh air replenishing your lungs while pleasing your eyes with nature, please register and a telegram chat link will be sent to you (this is where you can also coordinate carpooling).
The East Ridge and Long Valley Trail Loop is a 4.2 mile that features a river and is rated as “moderate.” Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Please bring water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, comfy clothes, and shoes with good grip!
Ministry Fair - March 20th
This is the moment you have been waiting for! Do you want to get plugged into a CBC ministry and have been wondering where to get started? This Ministry Fair is for you!
After service on March 20, you can see the various ministry opportunities and sign up to express your interest in serving in a particular ministry. All members (or aspiring members) are encouraged to use their gifts and resources to serve Christ by serving one another within the church.
Dinner for 8 - March 19

Dinner for 8 is a signature CBC quarterly event that helps you to meet and grow deeper with your church family. Sometimes, the most memorable (and unexpected) connections happen at Dinner for 8! Give it a whirl! There are two ways you can participate:
- Be a host! You can volunteer your home to host a group of 8. Host homes are expected to provide a main dish and the attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, dessert, or drinks.
- Register to attend a dinner! You can choose to participate and you will be assigned a home to go to. When you register, you will be provided an opportunity to ensure your family or someone you need to be with are grouped together in the same home.

Church Prayer - March 13th
When we pray, we have a direct line to the creator of the universe who is eager to hear our prayers! On March 13, 5pm at the new church building (1101 51st Street), we will be praying together as a church. Together, we will bring our needs and praises to our Father. Please make plans to join us!
