ReGathering Update

On Monday we learned about some new CA guidelines for church gatherings (up to 100 attendees with certain restrictions & recommendations for the next 3 weeks). Sacramento County also gave their approval yesterday evening.

Just so you know, we’re working through the CA guidelines in order to create plans to gather in smaller numbers. We’re assessing what the guidelines mean for smaller groups meeting in homes to watch the livestream together, as well as potentially using a facility that could fit 100 people with social distancing (we are currently in communication with one building option). As a mobile church, you know that we have the added obstacle of not owning our Sunday meeting space, so please continue to pray for the Lord’s provision and guidance.

Please note that whatever decisions are made, livestream will still be available moving forward. And until there are further developments, Livestream is still the primary plan for this Sunday.

Our church leadership will be meeting soon to pray, discuss, and plan. We’ll keep you informed once a decision is made. Lord willing, we should be seeing changes soon.

Book of the Month: Proverbs

It is not coincedence that we have chosen Proverbs as our book of the month, as it contains so much instruction in how to think of mothers (and fathers).

You need wisdom. You will need more wisdom in the days to come. Especially in trials, James tell us to ask/seek for wisdom (James 1:5) and God will give generously. Indeed He has; in the book of Proverbs and complete in Christ (Col. 2:3). Church, there are 31 days in May, and there are 31 chapters in Proverbs.

We challenge you to read one chapter of Proverbs on each corresponding day (Chapter 1 on May 1st, Chapter 2 on May 2nd, Chapter 14 on May 14th, etc.) and share something with someone. You can can share within your fellowship groups, or you can share you thoughts on social media using #wisdomshouts and #proverbs[chapter].

Social Media

Did you know that one of the easiest, and most passive ways you can help the advance of the Gospel, is by interacting with our Church social media presence (and other ministries). Even a simple "like" will help put our posts in the view of your non-believing friends. Comments are better in Facebook, since they equate the comments with popularity.
