October 11, 2023Women's Breakfast
This Saturday, October 14th at 9 AM, we will be having our Women’s breakfast, where we continue our series on Vanity Fair talking about Social Media. Amy Atkins will unpack how God’s Word is not silent about the various temptations social media can bring as we navigate its terrain. She will talk about how we are called to glorify God in whatever we do.
So, how do we love God and love others while interacting with this modern day form of communication? We will walk through some heart testing and exposing questions that will encourage us to look not to social media for belonging, but let our pursuit of Christ give us everything we need for life and godliness.
Men's Round Table
Gentlemen ~ Our Men’s Round Table is this Friday at 5:45 AM! The early bird gets the worm and here at the Round Table, the early risers get edified AND pastries. Good fellowship and coffee are included.
Members Meeting
October 22nd at 5:00 PM, join us for our quarterly Members' Meeting as we discuss various family matters and review our current financial situation. We will get to pray together at the end for our Church Body and various ministries at our church. Non-members are welcome to join if they wish to learn more about our church and get to know our congregation.
Baptism Sunday
During Sunday’s corporate worship service, on October 22nd, we will rejoice with fellow saints who will be getting baptized and proclaiming their faith and testimony to our church. Please join us in this celebration and pray for these individuals as they prepare for baptism.
Men's Breakfast
Gentlemen! Men’s Breakfast is on October 28th at 8 AM. This will be a sanctifying time in which you can fellowship and be edified by fellow men at CBC. Don’t miss out on this encouraging fellowship. Register now and claim your breakfast!
Coffee and Counsel
Coffee and Counsel is held every Sunday morning at 8 AM. This class is a gathering of saints who, over coffee, unpack counseling questions and topics with fellow saints, looking at how to biblically address them. All are welcome to join.
