September 20, 2023Dinner for Eight
Looking for an opportunity to get to know more people at City Bible Church?
We want to invite you to participate in Dinner for 8 on October 21st at 5pm for a great time of fellowship and breaking bread! You can register to attend a dinner group or host one at your home. Host homes are expected to provide a main dish and the attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or drinks. Make sure you register your families or anyone you need to be in the same dinner group with together. The registration for this event will close on October 8th at 10:00 PM. Register to host and register to attend!

Outreach Dinner
Saints! The outreach team will be meeting on September 29th at 6:30pm where they will share the different areas of needs and how you can serve. There are many opportunities and many needs on this team as they serve the spiritual and practical needs of the individuals that they serve.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” -Matthew 9:37-38
Please pray alongside the outreach team what the Lord commanded and trust Him in how He can use you. Then he said to his disciples, Register now and get plugged in!
Men's Breakfast
Gentlemen! Mark your calendars for the first fall Men’s Breakfast this Saturday at 8 am. Pastor Ty Nickelberry will be launching this Men’s Breakfast by preaching about anger. Don’t miss out on this edifying time of fellowship so register now and claim your breakfast!
Corporate Worship and Family Dedication
Church! This Sunday we will be having our corporate worship and family dedication service. This is a special service as we will pray over our families who make the public commitment to bring up their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We will be praying for these families and their little ones as an entire church so invite your family and friends!
The Intro
Are you new to CBC? Want to find out more about the church? Join us for "The Intro" this Sunday, September 24th, at 12pm. This will be a meeting where you can learn more about the church and have any questions answered by our leadership. Register now to claim your spot!
Church Prayer
Church prayer is this Sunday at 5pm. Please join us for a sweet time of prayer as we pray together as a body for all the members of our church. Praise the Lord that we can all our joys and sorrows to him in prayer.
Union Gospel Mission
Join us next week to serve with us at Union Gospel Mission this Monday at 7pm. At Union Gospel Mission we have the privilege of serving the homeless living in Sacramento through an evening service led by our church. Join to support our brothers and sisters who will be leading the service and join to minister and evangelize to those who will be attending.
