Ladies! We invite you to join us for the Women’s Breakfast next Saturday, October 8th, at 9 AM. We will continue our series on Relationship Matters, discussing the vitality of our relationship with Jesus. Come and be encouraged as we grow in seeking first our Lord and his kingdom. Come for the food and fellowship as well.
Baptism Sunday
Join us on October 9th and October 30th for our baptism Sundays as we rejoice with fellow saints who have decided to declare their faith to the world and be baptized.
Dinner for Eight
We have finalized the date for our Dinner for Eight on October 22nd!
And it’s no debate that Dinner for Eight is great!
All eight will meet at an estate
And eat at a predetermined rate.
So don’t be late to sign up by October 9th,
To claim a plate at a Dinner for Eight.

Dinner for Eight is a wonderful opportunity to get to know fellow members of City Bible Church. We encourage all to register to get plugged into our growing community and fellowship with other saints!
Pre-Service Prayer
The LORD Jesus said that men should always pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). Likewise, the Apostle Paul desired the church to pray (1 Tim 2:1). Prayer is the lifeline of the church to the infinite, all-powerful God of the universe. Prayer is a mark of humility, dependence, and trust in God. Prayer “Can do anything that God can do” (E.M. Bounds). In other words, when done in accordance with the will of God, prayer can accomplish God-sized tasks (1 John 5:14).
So please join us in prayer beginning October 9th as we pray for our Sunday worship. We will ask God to empower the preaching of His word and His Spirit to move upon the hearts of those who hear it.

And now… the long-awaited… often asked about… day has come… the CBC merch shop is open! This Sunday after service our CBC clothes, mugs, decals, will be on sale in the lobby! Be sure to bring your credit cards as the team will not be accepting cash purchases!
Members Meeting
Members of CBC! Our next members meeting will held be on Sunday, October 23rd. Be sure to come as we discuss various family matters and review our current financial situation. This meeting will be held at 12:15 pm after Corporate Worship.
Nonmembers are welcome to join if they wish to learn more about our church and get to know our congregation!
Man of God Conference
CBC! This is just a reminder that the Man of God Conference is open for registration! This conference is for men in the greater Sacramento area who desire to learn how to more faithfully fulfill the calling of God in their lives as fathers, husbands, brothers, leaders, and churchmen. Grace Bible Church will host this event, October 7th-8th. This year, Pastor Brad is speaking on GOSPEL TREASON: What Happens When We Give Our Hearts to Idols. Please join us and fellow brothers-in-Christ in turning our hearts away from idols and building up a greater love and joy for Jesus.
