Colossians 4:2-4

“Oh Great… Another sermon on why I need to pray more” is what some are thinking. But in order to live a complete life in Christ, you need prayer. In Colossians, we have been shown the supremacy of Jesus. We have been reminded what we have and who we are in Christ. But for us to live out this new identity, we need utter and complete dependance on God; we need to pray.

But I don’t want you to be drenched in guilt. I want the Holy Spirit through the Word to kindle in you a desire to seek prayer the way the Bible tells us to pray.
